Get ready to strut your stuff with costumes and drums! We'll create gorgeous Brazilian Carnival crowns and costumes with Anne Sawyer-Aitch from feathers, fabric and bling - then learn about the sounds of the Bateria, section of drummers playing samba Carnaval style. Featuring the marching drums like the surdo, caixa, repenique and tamborim. Drumming taught by Tim O'Keefe, director and Mestre de Bateria of Minnesota's own Batucada do Norte.
