Get your paint on! On Tuesday, November 6th from 6 to 9 p.m. join us for an evening of painting a 12” square interior barn quilt. Class will be held at the Winsted Arts Council, 141 Main Avenue West in Winsted, MN.
Choose from a fall Maple Leaf or a Winter themed barn quilt. The designs will be drawn on the boards for you, you pick the colors! Cyndi Buchholz is the instructor along with help from Gail Telecky. Cyndi has been teaching barn quilt classes all over the state of Minnesota for about 4 years and has even ventured into some neighboring states. Her classes are informative and fun.
Cost of the class is $25, payable to the Winsted Arts Council. Pre-registration is needed. Space is limited.

LITTLE ARTIST Campers ages 3 to 5 (entering kindergarten in the fall) can come July 10, 11, and 12 from 9 AM - 11 AM each day, or July 24, 25, 26 from 9 AM - 11 AM each day. Register for one session or both!
ART ADVENTURE Campers ages 5 - 11 (completed kindergarten to entering 6th grade in the fall) are welcome July 17, 18, and 19 from 9 AM - 11 AM each day.

As childhood friends growing up in Denver Colorado, Joe Mailander and Justin Lansing were always exploring the outdoors. Whether it was rafting down their neighborhood creek or discovering hiking trails through the Rocky Mountains, Joe and Justin were born adventurers. Now, as the GRAMMY® Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers, they have put this passion for the outdoors at the heart of their Americana Folk music.Joe and Justin record and perform family music with a goal to inspire children and their parents to get outside and get creative.
They believe this can motivate kids to gain a greater respect for the natural world, their communities and themselves.

About the instructor: Lisa Smalls is originally from the UK and has lived in Winsted with her husband for the past 7 years. She is an assistant teacher at the Blake School, but has worked with children for the past 25 years. Lisa also has many years experience teaching kids how to knit, crochet, and sew in after-school programs and summer camps.
Students in grades 1-6 can explore their creative sides while learning about artists! This popular after-school art club led by Rosanne Hansen is back - young artists develop their artistic skills and learn new techniques in this 6 week class. Projects different from previous sessions
